The invention provides a shield integral type arrival receiving device, which is arranged in a foundation pit active well on the outer side of a shield arrival tunnel ring and comprises a lower shell and an upper shell, wherein the bottom part of the lower shell is arranged on a base at the bottom of the active well; one end part of the lower shell is connected with a pre-embedded steel plate on a lining wall of the active well; the upper shell is arranged above the lower shell; the bottom part of the upper shell is connected with the lower shell; one end of the upper shell is connected with the pre-embedded steel plate; the upper shell and the lower shell form an integral sealing space; a water discharge port is arranged on the lower shell; a water inlet, an air outlet, a pressure gage and an observation hole are arranged on the upper shell; and the upper shell and the lower shell are provided with a safety overflow valve respectively. The invention also provides a construction method employing the shield integral type arrival receiving device. By the device and the construction method, phenomena such as water leakage, mud leakage and the like of the tunnel ring can be effectively prevented, so the risk of shield arrival is reduced, and the cost of shield arrival is effectively saved.
