Analysis of a 60 KW Photovoltaic Power Plant After the First Year of Operation

During the first year of operation, the 60 kW photovoltaic system at Mt Laguna Air Force Station met or exceeded nearly all of the technical requirements originally established. The system generated nearly 100,000 kWh, operating about 3400 hours. The downtime was extremely low. A 16% reduction in maximum available power of the array was experienced, which is attributed to module engineering problems.
