Notice of Retraction Effects of Fertilizer with Soil and Water Conserving Function on the Nitrate in Cabbage and Soil

2011
A field experiment was conducted to determine technical measures of controlling excessive accumulation of NO 3 --N in soil and cabbage under the condition of cabbage planting. Some kinds of fertilizer with soil and water conserving function which was prepared by different polymer additive were applied to the cabbage. After harvest the yield, nutrient of cabbage, nitrate in cabbage and soil were analysed and the factors such as type of additive, mass percentage of additive, depth of application and amount of topdressing which had the great influence on them were discussed. Results showed that the application of CMPSAM and CMPSSZH could both increase the cabbage yield, the application of CMPSAM most increase the total N and total K in cabbage, and with mass percentage of 47.06% the fertilizer could most increase the total N in cabbage; different types of fertilizer with soil and water conserving function had different effects on nitrate in cabbage, the nitrate in cabbage was 3.1% lower applied the fertilizer with 11.76% mass percentage. There was the trend that the soil nitrate decreased when fertilizer with soil and water conserving function applied to cabbage planting soil. The application of CMPSAM had the greatest effect which could inhibit the nitrate movement to deeper layer. Using the fertilizer with soil and water conserving function, which could substitute for normal chemical fertilizer, was an effective way to prevent groundwater pollution by controlling nitrate leaching from vegetable field.
