The invention discloses a viscose active seaweed fiber and its producing method, and the seaweed is 1-8% of the viscose fiber in weight. Its producing method has the characteristic: it includes the working procedures of dissolving sodium alginate powder in NaOH solution at concentration of 0.5mol/L, where the weight ratio of sodium alginate powder to NaOH solution is 1 : 20-100, and of uniformly adding them to the viscose during seaweed colloid solution dissolving in fiber xanthate, mixing and grinding to make a spinning solution, it can use the spinning solution to spin out filament or short-yarn products of the viscose active seaweed fiber by special acid bath components and spinning technical parameters, use the viscose active seaweed fiber to make fabrics with health actions of antibiosis, relieving itching, beautifying and grow-old resistance.
