Generation and Compression of Tunable Broadband Femtosecond Mid-IR Pulses for Nonlinear Spectroscopy

We present a deformable mirror pulse shaper designed to compress broadband mid-IR pulses between 3 and 7 μm. The electric fields of the nearly transform limited octave-spanning IR pulses are retrieved using XFROG.
