Research on Parameter Correction of Frequency Situation Estimation Model

2019
Power system frequency situation estimation can help to quickly and accurately determine the control strategies when frequency offset events occur. Considering the current situation of large-scale grid interconnection and complex system structure, this paper proposes to use parameter correction method to improve the practicability of traditional system frequency response (SFR) model. Firstly, the initial parameter values of SFR model are obtained by equivalently simplifying the target power system. Secondly, the objective function is set as the sum of the error between predicted frequency and ultra-real-time simulation frequency. Then, the five important parameters in the simplified SFR model are corrected, which employs sequence quadratic programming algorithm. Finally, the frequency situation of the corrected SFR model is compared to the actual system simulation results under different operating conditions and faults, which show the proposed model can estimate the frequency situation more quickly and accurately after system disturbed.
