Practice and Reflection of the On-line Oral English Test on a Large Scale——A Study on College English Oral Test Through Changyan Oral English Testing System

Computer-assisted oral testing technology puts the large-scale oral test into practice.A College English oral test has been carried out through the Changyan oral English testing system in order to discuss the feasibility of popularizing the on-line oral test on a large scale and investigate some aspects which should be paid attention.The study suggests that the current computer-assisted English oral testing system is feasible and its technical design can achieve its required function.The study also reveals that further improvement should be made in the aspects of testing validity,reliablity and technical design.
