Protocolo de análisis tectónico estructural para la caracterización de potenciales almacenamientos geológicos de CO2 (Proyecto TECTO2)

The main-frame of the TECTO2-project (CGL2006-28134-E/CLI) faces the role of several tectonic and structural parameters in order to be considered for the geological storage of CO2. Accordingly, we propose the TECTO2 protocol from 1) the selection of the scale of analysis, 2) a complete definition of variables in each scale defined previously and 3) the methodology to quantify these variables in each scale. TECTO2 protocol proposes a new sequence to apply in three scales, labelling the tectonic and structural variables to be considered for CO2 storage and the ongoing study and monitoring of the emplacement.
