Effects of Statin Therapy on Arrhythmias

Recently,statin has been deomonstrated known to have effects independent of their cholesterol-lowering effects,which was regarded to be pleiotropic effects.Some reports showed the good effects of statin in prevention of arrhythmia,but its exact mechanism is unclear.This article reviewed the effects of statin in therapy of arrhythmias and its mechanisms.
