Performance of Concrete with Partial Replacement of Coarse Aggregate with Tyre Chipped Rubber

Up to 20% chipped rubber with coarse aggregate had been replaced earlier and found that 5% replacement is optimum but that lacks some strength from conventional concrete. In this research programme to minimize this gap, extra 5% microsilica of the weight of cement had been added and also 40% of cement had been replaced by GGBS. Here, cubes, cylinders and prisms were cast to test compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength and durability against heat and were observed after 28 days and 56 days.
