Effect of Self-Efficacy Among Flight Dispatcher to Occupational Stressor and Work Well-Being

The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationships between flight dispatcher′s occupational stressors and work well-being,and discuss modulating effect of general self-efficacy to flight dispatcher′s occupational stressors and work well-being.The inventories were then applied to 309 flight dispatchers from China Southern Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines by using correlation analysis and regression analyses.The study explored the relationship between occupational stressors and work well-being and the predicted effect of occupational stressors to work well-being.The study also tested whether there was modulating effect for the general self-efficacy between flight dispatcher′s occupational stressors and work well-being.The results revealed that there was significant relationship between flight dispatcher′ s occupational stressors and work well-being,and also there was significant modulating effect for flight dispatcher′s general self-efficacy between occupational stressors(role conflict and role over-load) and work well-being.
