Airborne Ultrasonic Speckle Velocimetry

1989
An ultrasonic speckle velocimetry has been proposed for blood flow measurement in the fields of clinical medicine. This method is capable of measuring the velocity of a target which moves along a direction perpendicular to the ultrasonic beam. The Doppler method cannot measure this velocity. A feasibility study of use of this method in the air is reviewed.
