Effectiveness of an empowerment intervention in abused Chinese women.

This article describes a study of a randomized controlled trial consisting of two groups of abused Chinese non-pregnant women in a domestic violence shelter. The treatment group received both an empowerment intervention and standard care and the control group received standard care only.
