Magnetic polarization of amorphous alloys in the approach to ferromagnetic saturation

Abstract The magnetic polarization of amorphous Fe 40 Ni 40 P 14 B 6 alloys has been studied in dependence of the applied magnetic field after pre-treatments. The law of approach to saturation of as-quenched, annealed and plastically deformed specimens has been analysed by a 1/ H n -power series from which the existence of internal stress centres has been derived.
