Validación de una metodología analítica para la determinación de cocaína y sus metabolitos en muestras de saliva por cromatografía gaseosa

A gas liquid chromatography methodology was developed and validated for the quantitative assay of cocaine in human saliva previous a purification step by solid phase extraction. A capillary column combined with a selective nitrogen phosphorous detector was used. The method showed a good accuracy, reliability and reproducibility. The validated method was applied for the assay of cocaine in saliva with the aim to establish the relationship between the blood and saliva drug concentrations
