Research on theOptimal Transmission Design ofPlanar BarMechanism

A creative method fortheoptimal transmission design oftheplanar barmechanism ispresented inthis paper. Bythemethod, crank-rocker mechanism, crankslider mechanism andthecorresponding six-bar mechanism withdesired dimensions canbedevised, in which basic parameters ofthemechanisms suchastime ratio, theoscillating angle oftherocker andthestroke remain unchanged andinthemeantime, theminimum transmission angle obtains itsmaximumvalue. Bythe method, thecombination formof theoptimal transmission parameters canbeobtained according to givendesignrequirements so as to improve transmission property and realize theoptimal transmission results. The designmethodis characterized bysimple operation andconvenient usage inpractice.
