Актуальные вопросы профилактики тромбоэмболии легочной артерии

Deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism (PE) are serious public health problems. The relevance of pulmonary embolism is determined not only by the severity of the disease and high death rate, but also by the difficulty of timely diagnosis of this complication due to polymorphism of developing clinical syndromes. Considering the high incidence of thromboembolic complications the causes of death from pulmonary embolism in the Republic of Bashkortostan has been analyzed. Analysis of the results revealed that in most regions prevention and treatment of thromboembolic complications is not carried out.
