[Study on HPLC fingerprints of Chrysanthemi Flos before and after sulfur-fumigation].

2012
Objective:To evaluate the quality of Chrysanthemi Flos before and after sulfur-fumigation by analysis of HPLC fingerprints.Methods:RP-HPLC method was applied to establish the chromatographic fingerprint. The separation was performed on a Waters C18(250 mm × 4.6 mm,5 μm)column with a gradient elution composed of acetonitrile-aqueous solution containing 0.5% phosphoric acid. The column temperature was 35 ℃,the detective wavelength was set at 268 nm.Results:Eleven batches of Chrysanthemi Flos samples composed of both sun-dried and sulfur-fumigated were analyzed and evaluated respectively. The method of clustering analysis was used, and the chromatographic fingerprint common pattern was finally established. Conclusion:The HPLC fingerprint method is reliable and suitable for quality evaluation of Chrysanthemi Flos before and after sulfur-fumigation.
