Educational coaching as a methodological strategy for the career development in 4th grade of secondary education. "guide-you" : a multidisciplinary approach

This paper focuses on the assessment of the decision-making in terms of counselling for the career development, based on the so-called educational coaching as reference methodological strategy. Although it comes from the corporate sector, this model has been developed in an educational context from the last decades of the 20th century. A proposal developed in order to implement, from a multidisciplinary approach, a strategy for the intervention in educational guidance through the educational coaching, using the information and communication technologies (ICT) as a support tool, has been made from a needs assessment study carried out at a centre in Asturias on the counselling for the career development. "Guide-you" , is a technological tool focused on the importance of the self-knowledge for a responsible decision-making among the 4th grade of Secondary Education students.
