Research progress in the ionic liquid-mediated capture and conversion of H 2 S

The removal of H2S from gas is of great economic significance in energy chemical industry. Ionic liquid is defined as a subset of organic molten salt which is liquid under ambient temperature. Based on the researches reported in this field, this paper introduces the progress in ionic liquids for the capture and conversion of H2S, and proposes the technological process of H2S capture and conversion. The development trend of ionic liquid for H2S capture and conversion is also discussed.
