Thermodynamics of dehydropolycondensation of 2,3,4,5-tetraphenyl-1,1-diethynyl-1-germacyclopentadiene

Using an isothermal calorimeter, equipped with a bomb, we measured the enthalpies of combustion of 2,3,4,5-tetraphenyl-1,1-diethynyl-1-germacyclopentadiene and poly-2,3,4,5-tetraphenyl-1,1-diethynyl-1-germacyclopentadiene, and calculated the thermodynamic parameters for their formation under standard conditions, and also the thermodynamic parameters of the polycondensation process.
