Temporal and Spatial Pricing for Optimal Electric Vehicle Charging and Discharging Management

2019
With the accelerated development of electric vehicles, the impact of charging loads on distribution network can no longer be ignored. It is very important to dispatch the charging and discharging loads of electric vehicles reasonably. In this paper, a pricing model has been proposed to guide the orderly charging and discharging behavior of electric vehicles. The state of charge of electric vehicle are considered, and the time-of-use price is determined by price sensitivity coefficient to optimize the load curve of distribution network. Then considering the spatial distribution of electric vehicles, the problem of distribution network reconfiguration is solved by the second-order conic relaxation to obtain the locational prices. So that the spatial distribution of charging and discharging loads can be optimized. Based on an IEEE 33-bus distribution network model, simulation results show that the proposed electricity price can improve peak-valley difference and reduce charging cost.
