On the decay mechanisms of excited clusters sputtered under ion bombardment: Dynamic chaos and RKK theory

The concepts of strong and weak interactions in vibrationally excited clusters are introduced. The limiting fragmentation modes of unimolecular reactions and dynamic chaos are highlighted.
