Consulta de puericultura: motivos relacionados à baixa adesão

RESUMO A puericultura e uma importante ferramenta na assistencia a saude infantil. A falta de assiduidade das criancas as consultas faz com que elas fiquem mais vulneraveis as doencas que poderiam ter sido evitadas, alem de estarem mais susceptiveis as alteracoes em seu crescimento e desenvolvimento. O objetivo do presente estudo e identificar os motivos pelos quais as maes/responsaveis de criancas menores de dois anos de idade pouco aderem a consulta de Puericultura em uma ESF no municipio de Juazeiro do Norte-CE. A pesquisa contou com 11 participantes e a coleta de dados foi realizada atraves de uma entrevista semiestruturada, sendo posteriormente utilizada para analise a organizacao de Minayo. A partir da analise, foram identificadas cinco categorias tematicas: Conhecimento das maes/responsaveis sobre puericultura; Informacao/orientacao sobre a importância de levar a crianca na consulta de puericultura; Momentos que maes/responsaveis levam as criancas a ESF; Satisfacao quanto ao atendimento na ESF e Motivos da nao adesao a puericultura. Torna-se necessario que as maes/responsaveis sejam orientadas sobre a finalidade da consulta de puericultura e estimuladas a participarem desse servico atraves da visita domiciliar feita pelo ACS e pelo incentivo dos demais profissionais atuantes na ESF, salientando a necessidade da responsabilizacao mutua pelo sucesso no acompanhamento das consultas. The lack of assiduity of children to queries makes them more vulnerable to diseases that could have been avoided, and are more susceptible to changes in their growth and development. The study aimed identify the reasons why mothers / guardians of children under two years old bit adhere to the Child Care consultation in a FHS in Juazeiro municipality North-CE. The study had 11 participants and data collection was conducted through a semi-structured interview, and was then used to analyze the organization of Minayo. From the analysis, five thematic categories were identified: Knowledge of mothers/guardians about childcare; Information about the importance of taking the child in childcare consultation; Moments that mothers/guardians take the children the FHS; Satisfaction with care in the FHS and Reasons for nonadherence to childcare consultation. It is necessary that mothers/guardians are instructed about the purpose of childcare consultation and encouraged to participate in this service through home visits made by community health agents (HCA) and by the encouragement of other professionals working in the FHS, stressing the need for mutual accountability for success in the follow-up of consultations.
