Correlative study of instantaneous accelerating wave intensity W1 with carotid artery elasticity parameter of anti-seismic soldiers

2012
Objective To investigate the correlation of instantaneous accelerating wave intensity W1 of carotid artery with the carotid elasticity parameter of anti-seismic soldiers. Methods The wave intensity(WI) and related ultrasound indexes of 100 anti-seismic soldiers acutely exposuring to plateau within seven days and 100 healthy soldiers living on the plains were detected by Prosound αl0 color Doppler ultrasonography manufactured by company of ALOKA.The indexes were analyzed by spearman relevant analysis with statistical package SPSS 18.0.Results ①Compared with the control group, instantaneous accelerating wave intensity W1,arterial compliance(AC),argumentation index (AI) of the high altitude group were lower,pressure-strain elastic modulus(Ep),stiffness parameter(β) were higher, but there was no significant difference between the two groups ( P all > 0.05).Pulse wave velocity (PWV-WI) was higher (P < 0.05 ).②Sperman relevant analysis results showed:W1 was positively correlated with PWV-WI,and was negatively correlated with AI,but has no statistical relationship with Ep,β and AC.Conclusions Among the indexes reflecting carotid artery elasticity, pulse wave velocity is a sensitive index of acute high altitude hypoxia reaction, and vessel parameters can reflect the cardiac function.
