Anglo Expands African Iron Ore Business

Anglo American plc, the diversified miner is planning to expand its iron ore business in South Africa and Brazil and nearly double its iron production to around 80mt by 2014. However, studies underway at the company's Minas Rio project indicate strong potential for growth, which shows that by 2020 Anglo American could be producing as much as 150mt of iron ore annually.
