The GRB 970111 error box 19-hours after the high energy event
2008
We present the results of the follow-up observations performed 19 hours after the Gamma-Ray Burst GRB 970111, detected by BeppoSAX, BATSE/CGRO and Ulysses. The gamma-ray fluence of this burst is seven times larger than that of GRB 970228, the first burst for which an optical counterpart was found. However, no counterpart was detected for GRB 970111 to a limiting magnitude of B∼23 and R∼22.6.
