子宮内膜細胞診が診断の契機となったextraovarian serous surface papillary carcinomaの1例

We report the case of a 72-year-old woman with extraovarian serous lary carcinoma (ESSPC). Endometrial cytology showed small numbers o malignant cells with iotracytoplasmic vacuoles. The cytol-ogy smea was not necritic. Physical and imaging of the pelvic cavity showed ormality. Pathological examination of the surgical specimen showed arcinoma infiltrating the surface of the normal sized ovary and sprht the peritoneal surface. The presence of small, clusters of malig thout necrotic background should indicated to need to consider a po terine malignant disease including ESSPC.
