The development of rural enterprises in the sphere of industry, trade, transportation changed greatly the structure of the rural economy of China and provided high rates of economic growth in 80-90s years. The article deals with the main problems of development of the rural enterprises in the period of reforms, their role and prospects in the economy of the country.
