Проблемы жанров малой прозы (применительно к творчеству Чарльза Диккенса)

The article examines the theory of the short story genre. It deals with the definition of the short story genre and its genesis in Ch. Dickens' works. On the one hand, the writer followed some traditional rules of the short story and the novel. On the other hand, Dickens experimented with genres by mixing the lyric and epic prose, dramatic effects and humor, satire, psychological features and the conditionality.
