A problem of magnetostatics related to thin plates

Motivated by an industrial project concerning the electrolysis cells for the production of aluminium, we study the asymptotic behaviour of ferromagnetic plates first when the magnetic susceptibility is large and then when the thickness of the plates is small. (C) Elsevier, Paris.
