Modelos de Gestão do Conhecimento e as Inter-Relações com a Cultura Organizacional

This research aims to present how culture is being portrayed in knowledge management models in order to highlight the perception of some researchers on this theme. To this end, a theoretical analysis of five knowledge management models is performed. The models presented show elements and activities that are linked to human and strategic factors, organizational infrastructure, and managerial processes. In this sense, three models are based on the perspective that if culture does not provide the necessary conditions for knowledge management, any attempt to conduct activities in this context is subject to face complex barriers and challenges. This highlights the importance of knowledge management focusing on factors that deal directly with human aspects, in order to make it possible for informal flows to add value to an organization's daily work. This requires developing a favorable culture to support the constitutive processes of this management model, providing its feasibility and consistency.
