Study on the changes of cardiovascular disease influencing factors of pilots in China

2020
Objective To analyze the change trend of cardiovascular influencing factors in different age groups of pilots in a region of CAAC. Methods Cluster sampling was used to extract the physical examination results of civil aviation pilots in a certain region in 2009 and 2019. Epidemiological investigation of controllable influencing factors for cardiovascular disease was conducted. Analyze hypertension, dyslipidemia, overweight and other major cardiovascular influencing factors change trend in pilots. Results (1) Comparing with in 2009 the TC value of pilots in a certain region of CAAC has not changed significantly in 2019. HDL-C and LDL-C values were significantly increased $(\mathrm{P} \lt 0.01)$ while SBP, DBP, BMI and TG values were significantly decreased $(\mathrm{P} \lt 0.01)$. (2) Comparing with in 2009 the prevalence rates of overweight and obesity, hypertension, hypertriglyceridemia and high-LDL among pilots in a region of CAAC in 2019 were significantly decreased $(\mathrm{P} \lt 0.01)$. (3) In 2019 the prevalence rates of overweight and obesity, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia and high-LDL were significantly different among the pilots $(\mathrm{P} \lt 0.01)$. Conclusion The incidence of controllable influencing factors of cardiovascular disease has decreased in Chinese civil aviation pilots but it is still necessary to continue to strengthen the prevention and intervention of cardiovascular disease, especially targeted intervention for pilots of different age groups.
