Method for synthesizing D-vine ketoheptose with molybdenum trioxide catalysis carbon chain rearrangement
2008
The invention provides a method for synthesizing D-gluco-heptulose by carbon chain rearrangement with molybdenum trioxide as catalyst. The method mainly comprises the steps of: (1) subjecting the raw material of D-mannose to radical protection , and reacting with formaldehyde aqueous solution under base catalysis to obtain 2,3,5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-2-C-methylol-D-mannofuranose; (2) dissolving in an acid, and removing isopropylidene protecting group to obtain 2-C-methylol-D-mannofuranose; and (3) preparing D-gluco-heptulose in a molybdenum trioxide aqueous solution system under refluxing. The inventive method provides technical support for preparation of C7 uncommon sugars; and has the advantages of easily accessible raw materials, simple preparation method, reusability of molybdenum oxide catalyst, short process route, and low production cost.
