Production of active hard brazing paste

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing an active hard brazing paste contg. active hard brazing powder and an organic material acting as a vehicle and capable of brazing through holes. CONSTITUTION: This method comprises a process in which the coarse pieces of the coarse particles of a selected active hard brazing alloy are prehydrogenated, this prehydrogenated coarse pieces are ground in a mill with the addition of hydrogen to form a hydrogenated active hard brazing powder, the hydrogenated active hard brazing powder is then processed with the liq. vehicle openly, under normal atmospheric and temp. conditions, to form the active hard brazing paste.
