Antropólogas en bata blanca: praxis y problemas del trabajo etnográfico en hospitales

espanolEn este trabajo se presentan los problemas metodologicos, tecnicos y eticos surgidos durante la realizacion de tres etnografias en ambitos hospitalarios diferentes. Se describen las formas de acceso, los roles atribuidos a las antropologas y las diferentes posibilidades de emplear tecnicas de investigacion, al tiempo que se analiza como condicionan el material etnografico obtenido. Por ultimo, se presenta el relato metodologico como un relato etnografico sobre la cultura institucional de cada uno de los hospitales. EnglishIn this paper we deal with the methodological, technical and ethical problems that emerged during the ethnographic research that we carried out at three different hospitals. We describe the forms of access to the hospital, the roles given to the anthropologists, and the different anthropological research methods that we were able to use. We analyze how all these circumstances determine the ethnographic material obtained. Finally, we present an ethnographic account regarding the institutional culture of each of the hospitals
