The invention discloses a distributed remote automatic frequency converter fault diagnosis method, and relates to a frequency converter fault diagnosis technology. Through a remote fault diagnosis system based on a conventional B/S architecture, a frequency converter is added to a distributed system, through a C/S architecture, fault data of the frequency converter is transmitted to the distributed system through a network, and finally, a remote host starts a fault restoration program to transmit the fault restoration program to the frequency converter through an RPC mode so as to realize automatic fault detection and restoration. According to the invention, the various disadvantages existing in conventional frequency converter fault diagnosis are overcome, the fault diagnosis efficiency is improved, and the fault restoration efficiency is enhanced at the same time.
