APLICAÇÃO DAS FERRAMENTAS BÁSICAS DA QUALIDADE NOS PROCESSOS PRODUTIVOS: EM UM INDÚSTRIA METALMECÂNICA

The companies are currently seeking continuous improvement in production processes in order to reduce waste and remain competitive in the market in which competitiveness is increasingly intense, therefore, it is of utmost importance to reduce waste and costs to produce more and spend less. The present work consists of a study in a company of the metalworking sector, in which the objective was to apply quality tools aiming to standardize the improvements obtained from the presentation of a plan of action, proposing reduction of wastes in the productive processes, with the consequent reduction of industrial costs in the company. It is a research whose approach was qualitative, with an exploratory objective, adopting as strategy the bibliographic research and case study. The result shows that with a reduction percentage reduction can save approximately $ 34,000 per year, since they have been reduced or reduced percentage of 32,29%. At the end of the process, no kind of application applied as improvement tools, it is evident that occurs when improvements in productive products occur, waste reductions in which reduced reductions in economy savings and changes in the importance of quality tools are exhibited.
