Method for recovering silver from smelted furnace slag

2012
The invention discloses a method for recovering silver from smelted furnace slag. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) crushing rough block smelting intermediate frequency furnace slag artificially, adding the furnace slag into a ball grinding mill, adding water, performing ore grinding, and discharging to a table concentrator for reselection; (2) sorting to obtain concentrates, middlings and tailings, filtering moisture of the concentrates of the table concentrator and drying; (3) starting an intermediate frequency furnace, putting the dried concentrates into a crucible, adding borax and sodium carbonate which serve as a fluxing agent, controlling the temperature to be between 1,100 and 1,150 DEG C, fishing dross out after the silver is melted completely, tapping off and casting into a silver anode plate, wherein the addition amount of the borax is 1.0 to 1.2 kg/kg concentrate, and the addition amount of the sodium carbonate is 0.8 to 1.0 kg/kg concentrate; and (4) electrolyzing the silver anode plate by energization, controlling current to be 250 to 300 A within 1 hour, performing normal operation, controlling the current to be 400 to 500 A and bath voltage to be 2.8 to 3.2 V at the temperature of between 30 and 40 DEG C, and when the bath voltage is more than 3.5 V, taking the silver anode plate out, discharging an electrolyte in a bath, fishing silver powder out, and washing the silver powder by using distilled water until the silver powder is acid-free and colorless.
