Surface Modification of CuO Nanoparticles treated by Low Temperature Plasma
2021
The hydrothermal synthesized process was utilized to prepare the CuO nanoparticles, the crystal structure and grain size was determined using XRD. The CuO nanoparticles were subjected to low temperature Plasma. The dielectric studies of plasma treated CuO nanoparticles were investigated with the range of frequency between 50Hz and 5MHz at room temperature. The surface properties of nanoparticles were enhanced by plasma exposure and they became hydrophilic rather than hydrophobic, allowing them to absorb moisture and attain high permittivity than untreated CuO nanoparticles.
