Introduction: Allergic Contact Dermatitis (ACD) is inadequately studied in pediatrics. Contact dermatitis is estimated to be one of the most prevalent skin conditions in the U.S., affecting over 72 million patients and costing $1.6 billion dollars in direct medical costs each year. An estimated 20% of healthy children are sensitized to at least one allergen, which equates to over 14 million affected children.
