La asociatividad y el emprendimiento

2019
The new trends in the economic policy of the countries seek the inclusion of new forms of economic organization where small producers are included in the formal economy, for this reason the Popular and Solidarity Economic Model (EPS) is generated in order to generate reciprocity, redistribution, domestic administration and exchange, through associativity, cooperativism and above all entrepreneurship. As a consequence, associativity assumes an important role as an alternative for the management of productive resources that directs its efforts in improving the quality of life of the associates; however, there are limitations that prevent associations from maintaining sustained growth The research directed to the associative sector of the EPS in border area Ecuador - Colombia that frames demographic, socioeconomic aspects, sustainability, management of financial resources, culture, value system, objectives, physical health, economic income and social relations, has yielded results that show the lack of support to this sector and the need to strengthen the internal management of the associations with the purpose of generating sustainability and improving incomes, in this article the results of the diagnoses made in Carchi-Ecuador are presented as part of the Border Development Project Ecuador - Colombia, analysis period 2017 - 2019.
