Effect observation of butylphthalide in treatment of acute ischemic cerebral infarction

Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of drug butylphthalide in the treatment of acute ischemic cerebral infarction.Methods In this parallel and controlled study,96 patients with acute ischemic cerebral infarction enrolled with 48 h of onset,were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Forty-eight patients in the control group were treated with routine methods,while treatment group were given butylphthalide on the former basic treatments,with a crouse of 14 days for each group.Before treatment and at the 14 th,18 th days after treatment,the National Institute of health stroke scale (NIHSS) and the neurological fuctional deficits ′s values were evaluated.Results Afer treatment,there were significant differences in the NIHSS and the neurological fuctional deficit ′s values between treatment group and control group at 14 th,28 th day (P0.05).After 28 days treatment,the warkedly effective rate and total effective rate of treatment group were better than those of the control group ( P0.05).Conclusion Butylphthalide in the treatment of acute ischemic cerebral infarction not only can improve neurological fuctional deficits,but aslo be effective and safety.
