Reciprocal system Zn3Te3 + Ga2S3 = Zn3S3 + Ga2Te3

An isothermal section (990 K) of the phase diagram of the Zn 3 Te 3 + Ga 2 S 3 = Zn 3 S 3 + Ga 2 Te 3 system has been constructed. It has been found that solid solutions participate in phase equilibria. These solid solutions are based on the components of the system and on the ZnGa 2 S 4 , ZnGa 8 S 1 3 , ZnGa 2 Te 4 , and Ga 2 S 2 Te ternary compounds. The ZnS-Ga 2 Te 3 diagonal is stable since the phase diagram of this system is eutectic-type, and the Zn 3 Te 3 + Ga 2 S 3 = Zn 3 S 3 + Ga 2 Te 3 system is an irreversible reciprocal one.
