Robust adaptive fuzzy control based on feedback linearization for three-phase active power filter

2013
In this paper, an adaptive robust fuzzy tracking control system using feedback linearization is proposed for three-phase active power filter (APF). The APF model is divided into two separate loops, namely the current dynamics inner loop and the DC voltage dynamics outer loop. The proposed adaptive fuzzy tracking control using feedback linearization theory is applied to the current dynamics inner loop to overcome the drawbacks of conventional method. The proposed controller ensures proper tracking of the reference current and imposes a desired dynamic behavior, giving robustness and insensitivity to parameter variations. The adaptive fuzzy PI (proportional-integral) control is applied to the DC voltage dynamics outer loop. According to the fuzzy control rule, this strategy could change PI parameter automatically, improve the dynamic response and reduce the error of the stable state. Various simulation results demonstrate the high performance of the proposed control strategy.
