A NEURO-FUZZY APPROACH FOR THE SENSOR-BASED DRIVING SITUATION IDENTIFICATION

In this paper, the authors present a neuro-fuzzy system that identifies a driving situation using vehicular sensor information. Based on monitored data, features are computed via a sensor fusion step and evaluated with a fuzzy classifier. The model is optimized using a bi-directional neuro-fuzzy transformation and a dedicated neural network topology.
