Radiated recombination in CdGa2Se4

Abstract The photoluminescence of single crystals of CdGa 2 Se 4 is studied as a function of temperature, of the excitation intensity, and of the polarization of the exciting light. A possible level scheme for optical transitions in the perfect crystal is given and evidence is also found for donor-acceptor pair recombination luminescence.
