The invention discloses a method and a device for pulse wave measurement, which solve the problem in the prior that that pulse wave measurement is not accurate enough. The method for the pulse wave measurement comprises that a pulse wave signal waveform of a testee is collected; the collected pulse wave signal waveform of the testee is segmented to obtain a plurality of segmented waveforms; Fourier transformation is carried out respectively to the multiple segmented waveforms to obtain data of a plurality of segmented frequency domains; the data of the multiple segmented frequency domains is equalized to obtain the frequency domain data of an equalized pulse wave; filtering processing is carried out to the frequency domain data of an equalized pulse wave; inverse Fourier transformation is carried out to the frequency data of the pulse wave which has undergone the filtering processing to obtain time domain data of a pulse wave; and periodical expansion is carried out to the pulse wave time domain data to form a pulse wave time domain waveform sequence. The method and the device for the pulse wave measurement provided by the invention are applicable to measuring a human body pulse wave.
