Study of the T = 32 states of 25Mg and 29Si

Abstract Magnetic spectrograph analysis of the ( 3 He, α) reaction at 15.4 MeV has been used to investigate T = 3 2 states in 25 Mg and 29 Si. Eight T = 3 2 levels in 25 Mg and five in 29 Si have been characterized. For almost all of them, l -transfer assignments and spectroscopic factors could be extracted. The level scheme and spectroscopic properties of the T = 3 2 25 Mg and 29 Si levels closely correspond to those of the parent 25 Na and 29 Al nuclei, respectively. Some observed Coulomb displacements between the parent and analog states are discussed in relation with the configuration of these states.
