Introduction: there are significant discrepancies in epidemiological data about cardiovascular risk in sub- clinical hypothyroidism (SH). Objective: to study the association between clinical and biochemical indicators of cardiovascular risk fac- tors with the presence of HS. Material and Methods: case-control study with observational endpoint, epidemiological, non-interventional. SH was defined as patients presenting with a serum thyrotropin-stimulating hormone (TSH) value greater than 4 uIU / mL with free thyroxine (FT4) levels in the reference range.
